What You Will Be Doing

In this newly created Senior Director, Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning role, you will drive change, contribute to and raise the bar of the Global Talent Acquisition team, strategy and processes hiring the best talent for now and the future. This will include leading our Talent Acquisition team as well as establishing and implementing a company-wide workforce planning strategy. You will be able to thrive in a fast-paced business environment with a global mindset.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the Global Talent Acquisition team utilizing best-in-class methodologies and practices across the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Create and execute global recruitment strategies aligned with the company's values and strategic business priorities and goals
  • Lead and manage the recruitment process for all global positions (including executive placements), while ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of HR, senior leaders, and hiring managers in order to understand business objectives, role requirements, and develop and lead the company’s workforce strategies
  • Design and develop the Employee Value Proposition tailored to diverse global talent markets
  • Leverage recruiting technology and tools (e.g., Greenhouse) in order to enhance the candidate experience, streamline processes, and measure the effectiveness of  recruiting strategies, and drive continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain knowledge of the competitive market, while staying on top of industry changes and trends
  • Collaborating with People Team colleagues on processes such as employee transfers, relocations, and job leveling, etc.
  • Be the custodian of ChargePoint’s Values and Culture, hiring only the best talent for ChargePoint

Requirements

  • 15+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning, or equivalent experience
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent written/communication/presentation skills, and able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Ability to generate and analyze hard and soft data and provide regular updates as to trends/metrics to management. Be adept at storytelling with data
  • Ensure adherence to global employment laws, regulations, and compliance within the TA team
  • Versatile and able to collaboratively work with others and at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in a multinational organization is a must, as is working across functional areas on a wide range of topics
  • Proficiency in recruitment software/tools (Greenhouse preferred) and familiarity with HRIS systems (UKG / UltiPro preferred)
  • Experience closing executive candidates and negotiating complex compensation packages

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $182,500 to $330,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
