eBay is looking for a seasoned Product Manager to help design, shape, and drive product capabilities for the eBay’s Seller Registration/Onboarding product suite. In this role you will be a senior member of the registration team helping charter the team's vision and strategy.

What you will accomplish:

  • Define product strategy and roadmap for Seller Registration/Onboarding at eBay.

  • Represent onboarding product to partners, legal, cross-functional product managers, and executives across eBay.

  • Prioritize the backlog by actively soliciting and curating ideas from partners across the organization

  • Maintains expertise with respect to the competition.

  • Contribute to technical design and architecture by challenging engineering to find innovative and efficient solutions. Champion product quality and recognize repeated failure points, driving preventative solutions.

  • Identify risks and mitigation plans with development and quality engineering leads together with a plan for roll-back and business contingencies.

  • Build conclusive/bankable hypotheses and design experiments. Skilled in cross-domain modeling, problem solving, analysis and reporting. Monitor key product health metrics and drive insights in partnership with analytics

What you will bring: 

  • Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager in industry with 7-9 years of experience (ideally working on onboarding experiences such as Seller Registration, Buyer Registration, Risk, KYC/Identity Verification flows)

  • Should be passionate and obsessive on customer experience with prior experience working with UX, research and design teams for iterative design on customer experiences in companies that pride themselves on Customer experience.

  • Very data driven. Leverage data to drive insights and figure out next steps.

  • Familiarity with defining product strategy and working knowledge of agile practices working with engineering, writing documentation in the form of product requirements, analyzing business requirements and driving to conclusion on product solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate and present everything from early concepts to full product launch plans to your team, as well as to external and executive audiences

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent experience preferred

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$149,200 - $234,850

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
