Program Manager, Sr.

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our team in Dayton, OH!

This is an extraordinary opportunity to apply your strong program and project management knowledge in the delivery of highly technical solutions and your passion for outward facing work with our discerning and high-value customers in the Aerospace and Defense industries. We will be looking to you to assume responsibility for the performance of significant programs in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines. We will also assign you lead responsibility for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned programs and for supporting new business development by leading proposals.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Define, launch, and drive mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives in core programs. Resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.

  • Create a method of change management including ownership of a documentation library, communication plans, process training, etc.

  • Responsible for complex program management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting.

  • Define, acquire, and allocate budget, staff, and other resources necessary to accomplish the goals and/or objectives of the program group/function.

  • Exercise judgment and delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects/programs.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university, with at least 5 years of project management or program related experience; PMP certification is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of and demonstrated experience with program and project management principles within delivery of complex and highly technical solutions.

  • Proven management and leadership skills across multiple disciplines, as well as exceptional organization, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills: ability to identify and manage program risks and apply innovative mitigation and solution strategies.

  • Strong understanding of program management best practices, risk management, contract management, financials, and ITAR regulations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Project; Agile and Jira experience.

  • Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be US citizen and be eligible to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.

This group is comprised of the following business units: Parvus, VDS, Data Solutions and Integrated Systems. Together these business units develop a range of aerospace and defense systems including networking systems, mission computers, video management systems, data recording and storage systems as well as 3U VPX solutions + SMS-684, HPEC + Core SCC solutions, and avionics.
