As a Senior Security Product Manager, you will own the roadmap and execution for our cyber security solutions, including SSL/TLS certificates, malware scanning, site monitoring, backups, and WAF/CDN. Knowledge-building AI-enabled products is a plus. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to design, launch, and scale products that cater to diverse customer segments—ranging from individual web developers to enterprises.

What you’ll get to do…

  • Product Roadmap Ownership: Define and manage the product roadmap for website security solutions, aligning with business goals and market demands.
  • Problem Validation: Use rapid hypothesis testing to ensure alignment between identified customer problems and proposed solutions before development.
  • Iterative Product Development: Drive iterative cycles of ideation, prototyping, and testing to quickly validate concepts and refine product features.
  • Continuous Feedback Loops: Build mechanisms to collect, analyze, and incorporate user feedback throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Minimal Viable Products (MVPs): Launch MVPs to test hypotheses in-market with minimal investment and gather actionable insights quickly.
  • Market Research: Conduct customer and market research to identify pain points, emerging trends, and competitive opportunities across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C segments.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to define product requirements and ensure successful launches.

Your experience should include…

  • 7+ years of product management experience in website security or related fields.
  • Proven track record of managing products for B2C, B2B, and B2B2C business models.
  • Hands-on experience with SSL certificates, malware detection, WAF/CDN, and related technologies.
  • Customer Focus: Represent the voice of the customer by collecting and analyzing feedback, identifying key needs, and translating them into actionable features.
  • Customer-Centric Discovery: Regularly engage with customers to understand their evolving needs, pain points, and preferences through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze behavioral and usage data to identify patterns and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of SSL/TLS certificates, malware scanning, site monitoring, backups, WAF/CDN, and other website security technologies to guide product development.
  • Cultural Advocacy: Foster a culture of curiosity and learning, encouraging teams to embrace experimentation and adapt to findings.

  • Threat Detection & Response: Experience leveraging AI/ML algorithms to detect malware, phishing, and other threats in real-time, improving accuracy and reducing false positives.
  • Behavioral Analysis: Expertise in using AI to analyze user behavior patterns for anomaly detection, enhancing proactive security measures against potential breaches.
  • Predictive Threat Intelligence: Knowledge of applying AI for predictive analytics to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities before they impact systems.
  • Data Enrichment: Utilizing AI to consolidate and contextualize data from multiple security tools, enabling faster decision-making and improved visibility.
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP): Applying NLP for identifying phishing attempts in emails or chat communications and scanning content for potential threats.
