Job Title: Freight and Logistics IT Solutions Lead We are seeking an experienced Freight and Logistics IT Solutions Expert with a deep understanding of the industry and technical expertise in F&L related IT applications. This role will leverage your expertise to drive digital transformation, optimize business processes, and develop innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. 1) Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy technology solutions that meet business requirements. - Design and develop innovative solutions that address business challenges and opportunities in the F&L industry. - Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution scope, and develop business cases. - Drive digital transformation initiatives that leverage technologies like AI, IoT, and cloud computing. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver solutions that meet business needs. 2) Technical Experience: Domain Expertise a) Industry Expertise: - Deep knowledge of Freight and Logistics operations, including transportation management, warehouse management, and supply chain optimization. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies. b) IT Application Expertise: - Experience to implement or manage F&L related IT applications, including transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and global trade management (GTM) systems. Experience: 10+ years of experience in the Freight and Logistics industry, with a focus on IT applications and solutions. 3) Professional Attributes: -Problem solving and critical thinking -Good Communication Skills 4) Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. MBA candidates can also be considered.
