What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a dynamic and experienced Portfolio Management Analyst to  provide essential support in managing and improving key cybersecurity portfolios, ensuring alignment with federal mandates, and delivering value to stakeholders.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Management Support

  • Assist in prioritizing and evaluating programs for process improvement.

  • Develop frameworks to manage and track the use of Technology Modernization Funds (TMF) for cyber operations.

  • Provide transparency and management controls over cybersecurity projects.

  • Support ongoing cyber portfolio and project management efforts.

  • Identify and address program risks and issues in a timely manner.

Governance and Process Improvement

  • Review and assess governance processes to incorporate cybersecurity requirements.

  • Identify cybersecurity responsibilities within the Information Resource Management (IRM) division and recommend process improvements for service delivery.

  • Recommend enhancements to business operations to promote efficiency.

Operations and Maintenance

  • Collaborate with offices across the IRM and facilitate organizational change discussions.

  • Identify opportunities for standardization and streamlined reporting.

  • Review and analyze existing documentation to identify gaps in processes and operations.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance

  • Bachelors Degree

  • THREE (3) or more years of experience in portfolio and/or project management

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams and manage stakeholder relationships.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience in portfolio and project management in cybersecurity.

  • In-depth knowledge of federal cybersecurity mandates such as Executive Order 14028, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC).

  • Strong analytical skills in business process re-engineering (BPR), governance, and process improvement.

  • Familiarity with the Technology Modernization Fund (TMF) and cybersecurity best practices from NIST, CISA, and SEI.

  • Ability to develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics for tracking policy and process effectiveness.

  • In-depth knowledge of federal cybersecurity mandates such as Executive Order 14028, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC).

  • Strong analytical skills in business process re-engineering (BPR), governance, and process improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
