WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Sport marketing and teams and brand partners to support their integration into our brand initiatives.

You will also actively be involved in women’ s football scouting, with focus on identifying standout female football players across UK. This position requires a strong connection to women’s football community and a passion for discovering emerging talent.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A successful candidate will be encouraged to clearly demonstrate and eloquently the experience of the below crucial requirements to be considered. Candidates that meet these criteria will then be assessed based on the proficiencies also outlined below.

  • Prior work experience in Sports Marketing, Marketing, or brand marketing
  • Exceptional communication and relationship - building. Proven ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationship with athletes and team members. You are skilled at engaging with diverse audiences, fostering collaboration, and maintaining positive, productive partnership across sports marketing landscape.
  • Broad knowledge of the football/ sport industry or a strong eagerness to learn. Solid understanding of the football and sport industry is a plus, but a passion for sports and willingness to learn and grow within the field and equally valued.
  • Impeccable written and spoken English skills.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Brand Experience:

  • Execute clear plans and journeys for our athletes & teams that unlock and fully leverage the portfolio.
  • Provide Athlete Insights that enable shaping of the portfolio through the Brand lens of Icon, Defining, Lead and Core Athletes
  • Align our athletes against NIKE’s purpose offense – sustainability, community, diversity, and equality.
  • Responsible for the athlete request process through Athlete Portal platform, enabling a seamless experience for our key partners.
  • Support Athlete/Trainer service journeys within Nike, and facilitating the integration of Athletes, Trainers, and Partners across Nike.
  • Implement Sport Marketing strategies by developing strong relationships within the team and across the organization. Represent Sports Marketing cross-functionally, work directly with Marketing, Comms, Purpose, and Product teams to drive business priorities.

Women’s Football:

  • Evaluate Talent: Observe and Analyze the performance of football young guns
    as well as other important factors such as attitude, motivation, and discipline.
  • Gather all info regarding key players in each age group, including profile and
    background.
  • Follow up the service for next Gen players as well as develop seasonal product
    seeding initiatives.
