Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct legal research and drafting as requested
- Works closely with in-house and outside counsel to support prosecution and maintenance of domestic and foreign patents
- Maintain legal department document files as necessary
- Send documents and process payments for recording or filing
- Assists in drafting legal documents including Patent Office correspondence, power of attorney forms, affidavits and declarations
- Interacts extensively with business groups to obtain invention disclosure information and other documentation
- Supports intellectual property litigation and due diligence projects
- Corresponds with various registered agents regarding changes to Integer’s corporate structure and officers
- Manages corporate minute books to ensure they are up-to-date and accurate
- Updates corporate binders related to changes to Integer’s policies and procedures
- Conducts legal research
- Participate in the definition and development of corporate policies, procedures and programs
- Provide support on Mergers & Acquisitions
- Respond to requests for information
- Build positive relationships with outside counsel and internal clients
- Provide administrative support for attorney(s)
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Minimum Education: B.A. degree preferred / Paralegal certification preferred
- Minimum Experience: 3+ years’ work experience as a paralegal in an in-house/corporate law department. 5-7 years of experience in intellectual property, patent paralegal, or related work preferred.

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with electronic billing systems
- Ability to learn new software programs
