The opportunity

Are you passionate about forging strong business relationships and driving success in the gaming industry? Unity Technologies is looking for a Project/ Program Manager to join our Strategic Partner Support Team. This is not just a job - it's a chance to be at the forefront of innovation, working with cutting-edge technology and leading VIP customers in the gaming industry. You will be handling a most important business operations/admins under the strategic partnerships with the customers. You will be required to collaborate with local customers, local teams, and the Unity global team in Japanese and English. As your career grows, International travel several times a year and domestic travel several times a quarter might be required.

What you'll be doing

  • Make full use of major business tools (e-mail, Zoom, Slack, Google Document, Google Spreadsheet, Google Slide, Google Calendar Microsoft 365 etc...) for multi-faced communications to facilitate smooth interactions and communication across multiple teams, and act as the essential link between Unity’s internal teams and our high-profile partners, including VIP clients.
  • Safeguard critical information and manage security protocols to keep our partnerships strong and secure. It is required to understand the confidentiality and importance of the information you handle, to work responsibly and carefully, and to work on time (especially in handling invoices and contracts).
  • Must be able to work as a team to coordinate the work of all stakeholders while gaining the understanding of the other teams within Unity, which requires a lots of Slack messages/Zoom/e-mail communications, document write-ups, spreadsheet and powerpoint preparations and schedule coordinations.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in business admins and B2B communications with strong social skills, enabling you to engage with VIP customers and internal teams with professionalism and ease.
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English is essential, allowing you to navigate and enhance communication across diverse clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • A sense of responsibility in dealing with customers, and handle business operations in a timely manner with the most care.
  • Flexibility to work with international teams and occasionally travel, ensuring you’re always in sync with our global operations.
  • Although some work will be taken over from the predecessor, as a person who works with Unity in general, you are also required to be willing to gather information and learn on your own.

You might also have

  • Previous roles as a project/program manager, demonstrating your ability to lead and coordinate business operations effectively, and professional experience and familiarity with business protocols across different cultures.
  • The ability to adapt work hours to collaborate with international teams and clients, and readiness for occasional domestic or international business trips.
  • Familiarity with the gaming industry is a plus, helping you connect with our partners and understand their unique needs. Experience in game development is advantageous but not required.
