Financial Accounts Production team:

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and problem-solving person to join our expanding financial accounts production team. This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to get involved in supporting the wider Audit and Assurance team in delivering financial statements for our clients. This could be the starting point in your Accounting Career.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Creating and updating financial statements using the firm’s dedicated accounts production software, CaseWare

  • Data manipulation in Excel using formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables and other advanced features

  • Verifying the information provided and financial statements produced are to the expected quality and consistency

  • Participating in team meetings, to enhance efficiencies and encourage collaboration.

  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as relevant legislation and regulations

  • Efficient process times to meet client expectations

  • Working as part of a team for daily deliverables

  • Accurately populate, maintain and update records

  • General administration duties in support of the team

Skills and attributes:

  • 6 months of experience in finance or business role with exposure to accounting systems and other software but not essential

  • An understanding of the core accounting fundamentals would be beneficial but not required

  • Strong computer skills essential with proficiency in Microsoft Suites, including Advanced Excel skills

  • Organised and methodical in approach to ensure all tasks are completed according to deadlines set

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to liaise with people at all levels

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Willingness to learn new skills and systems

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks/timelines

  • Uses own initiatives and suggests ways to improve processes

  • Able to work well with peers to assist in achieving common goals

  • Some previous experience in an administrative role is desirable. Full training on our systems will be provided
