Position Summary
The Candidate Experience Specialist is an entry-level role responsible to assist the TA team in recruitment activities. This role supports day to day administrative accountabilities, including planning, preparing, supporting all recruiting initiatives, events programs, and post offer activities.
Essential Responsibilities
Process Coordination: Coordinate interviews, assessments, and offers. Manage recruiting and legal inquiries, audit requisitions, support immigration recruiting process, and assist with internal recruiting requirements for union positions. Partner with team and stakeholders to provide white glove candidate interactions.
Pre-Boarding: Provide elevated service to candidates who have accepted offers, including I-9 verification, new hire communications, on-boarding and pre-boarding tasks, relocation assistance, and partner with IT to ensure that new hires are set up for success on day 1.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop best practices to drive continuous improvement efforts. Support the team in documenting and training of TA practices and process knowledge with the TA organization. Assist in coordinating Xcel Energy TA programs and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge).
0-1 year work experience required. Experience working in a corporate business environment is preferred.
Experience with recruitment programs, recruiting teams and internal stakeholders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Willingness to learn and grow with agility. Detail and process oriented.
Preferred Requirements
Experience with Workday, Paradox.ai, and other recruiting systems.
