RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as the tier 2 benefit subject matter expert on the Company’s Health and Welfare benefits including but not limited to group health, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits
  • Works directly with third-party carriers/vendors to research and resolve any benefit-related teammate inquiries
  • Creates and conducts routine audits to ensure the integrity of benefits information within Workday
  • Oversees outbound files with carriers/vendors including investigating electronic file discrepancies, and other miscellaneous issues
  • Performs ACA administration including monthly review, yearly setup, and reporting in partnership with ADP
  • Responsible for processing Qualified Medical Child Support Orders
  • Participates in all Annual Enrollment activities, including but not limited to preparation, testing, teammate meetings
  • Performs additional duties as directed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or a similar role
  • Working knowledge of ERISA, DOL, and IRS regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Workday
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with teammates at all levels
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data within HRIS for reporting and decision-making purposes
  • Familiarity with integrations between HRIS and carriers/vendors for data exchange and enrollment purposes
