Job Summary:
The Performance & Engagement Specialist at McKesson supports the Performance & Engagement Team in implementing surveys and performance management processes that foster an engaging and high-performing culture. This role is crucial in managing performance practices, supporting leaders in their execution, and contributing to enterprise surveys that empower people leaders to continuously develop themselves and their teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management:
Assist in the strategic management of content, frameworks, processes, systems, training, and tools that support Performance Management.
Support the redesign and implementation of McKesson's performance management system, managing this critical project alongside senior team members.
Provide white-glove support to senior leaders in the effective execution of Performance Management activities.
Develop and maintain performance management support resources.
Work with the Workforce Analytics COE to monitor performance management data, prepare insights, and support the development of performance management initiatives based on feedback.
Support HR stakeholders, business leaders, and employees across the enterprise in effectively executing Performance Management activities.
Contribute to the identification, socialization, implementation, and sustainment of continuous improvement efforts around Performance Management programs and strategies.
Stay informed about best practices in performance management and employee engagement, proposing innovations to enhance McKesson's approach.
Employee Engagement:
Support the execution of enterprise employee surveys, including pre-survey socialization, communications, and HRBP support.
Provide customer support during surveys and post-survey data management.
Assist leaders with post-survey action planning efforts through workshops and resources.
Develop and socialize materials to raise awareness of surveys, great leadership, and the positive impact of survey action planning.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Consulting Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, or related fields.
2 years of experience in performance management, engagement, and/or leadership development preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience working in large organizations preferred but not required.
Certifications in project management.
Critical Skills and Abilities:
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and follow-up.
Ability to communicate and influence leaders at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint, and familiarity with Workday Human Capital Management System.
Experience with virtual facilitation and developing job aids, training protocols, and workshops.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
Proven ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with confidential issues.
Experience managing performance management processes and executing employee opinion surveys in both the United States and Canada.
Experience working with a diverse workforce, including hourly and deskless employees.
Conveys a positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to support team members.
Possesses an approachable and professional demeanor.
Adaptable and comfortable with change, particularly in the context of redesigning performance management processes.
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a drive for continuous learning in the field of talent management.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to anticipate and meet stakeholder needs effectively.
Demonstrated change management skills, including the ability to support and guide others through organizational transitions.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and driving performance improvements.
