We’re currently looking for an Ethics & Compliance Intern to join our team.  The position will be located at Nissan Headquarters in Franklin, TN.

During the course of your internship, you will have the chance to:

  • Support Nissan in mitigating risk.
  • Participating in cross-functional program development and implementation related to Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, and Third-Party Risk Management
  • Liaise for proactive regional Ethics & Compliance team objectives, deliverables, activities, and local support, engagement and implementation such as:
  • Managing administration and conversion of all US/CN policies to procedures; and acting as a liaison with the local market business areas for deliverables
  • Administering and adjudicating Ethics & Compliance forms (such as conflicts of interest, gifts & hospitality, attestations)
  • Planning, organizing and implementing Ethics Week activities
  • Advise on and implement efficiencies of existing SharePoint site workflows (continuous improvement)

In order to qualify for this role, you must:

  • Currently be pursuing a degree in one of the following: Compliance, Ethics, paralegal, pre-law, International law/business, risk management, Internal Audit, Sustainability or a related field
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Ability to perform work onsite at NNA HQ in Franklin, Tennessee.
  • Possess high ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the integrity and reputation of the organization as well as understand and adhere to both the highest level of confidentiality and model integrity behavior
  • Be methodical, organized, and able to organize others
  • Be curious, proactive and comfortable working in unstructured environments
  • Pay attention to the details
  • Have strong personal accountability
  • Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skill sets
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
