Internship Program Overview: Our 2025 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-12-week internship program, scheduled to begin on June 2, 2025. Interns are expected to work full-time throughout the summer.
Summer interns will join an intern class consisting of undergraduate and graduate students to work on exciting projects in one of EDC’s many dynamic departments. Summer Interns will also participate in training programs, networking events, and other professional development opportunities over the course of the program.
Our Summer 2025 Internship Program application deadline is Monday, December 2. All materials must be submitted by EOD that date – incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Department Overview: The Compliance Department at NYCEDC ensures that projects successfully realize their value to the city of New York and enforces remedies when contractual obligations are not met. Compliance is responsible for the management, administration, and reporting of a diverse portfolio consisting of New York City Industrial Development Agency (NYCIDA) and Build NYC Resource Corporation (Build NYC) transactions, NYCEDC land sales, applied science projects, certain loan agreements, and Business Incentives Rate energy saving program. In addition, Compliance plays a critical role in the preparation of annual public disclosure reports as mandated by State and local laws.
The Intern will assist Compliance Project Managers who are responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, data accuracy, and enforcement of a diversified portfolio. The Intern will also engage in special projects assigned by Senior Vice President, Vice Presidents and Assistant Vice Presidents.
