Job Description:

Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position.  Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsible for leading projects from original concept through final implementation. Manages all aspects of a project including: project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost. Partners with stakeholders to generate innovative ideas and approaches for communicating updates and processes improvements.


Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for leading projects from original concept through final implementation.

  • Manage all aspects of a project including: project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost.

  • Partner with stakeholders to generate innovative ideas and approaches for communicating updates and processes improvements.

  • Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You’ll Do It

  • Define project scopes and objectives. Gather project requirements. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards. Review project deliverables. Resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirement are met on time and within budget.

  • Lead collaboration with stakeholders through project meetings and shared data repositories. Ensure project requirements, progress, and results are understood by the team.

  • Create communication materials that provide timely, consistent, and accurate information. Educate and engage end-users.

  • Evaluate processes and develop improvements to increase speed-to-market and employee effectiveness.

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Arts, Business or related field

  • 1+ years of experience in Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related field

  • In lieu of education 6+ years of IT Project Management

Bonus Points If You Have

  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related field

  • PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Strong Communication and Organizational skills

  • Available to work outside of standard business hours

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $58,500.00 to $90,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
