KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the functions related to procurement, warehousing and logistics
  • Drive the station’s supply chain management strategy
  • Negotiate, agree, and improve contractual requirements/Service Level Agreements (SLA) with vendors
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, including supplier reliability, transportation issues, and fluctuating market conditions
  • Analyze data related to consumption, market trends etc, forecast demand and manage inventory
  • Prepare and present reports on the status of the Supply Chain Management Unit
  • Coordinate with the external and internal team such as Finance, Dispatch and Industrial Catering Departments
  • Lead the inventory team and partner with other members of the organization to accurately complete the cycle count exercise
  • Train, engage and manage staff performance so they are equipped to meet the company’s expected results and standards of behavior
  • Comply with and champion the adherence to all policies and procedures including but not limited to HACCP, Food Safety, HR and HSSE, to reduce the occurrence of accidents and incidents that may impede the maintenance of the highest food quality standards
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by line manager.

ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field OR CIPS level 6 Certified
  • 5+ years’ of proven experience in an international operations management position with at least 3 years successfully leading teams in complex business structures
  • Experience in the Food and Beverage Airline Concessions, Airline Catering, Industrial Catering, Airline industry preferred
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining overall departmental oversight
  • Highly skilled in business negotiation processes
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) etc. required
  • Able to communicate in English orally and in writing; Spanish would be an asset but only required in Latin America countries.
