The Human Resources Operations Specialist focuses on strategic development, departmental efficiency, or employee management, which are the primary specialized areas within HR operations and administration. They may oversee salaries and benefits, develop and implement policies related to departmental workflow, support the entire employee lifecycle, improve employee relations, and ensure HR is following best practices. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, helping to resolve and respond to process questions from employees and managers.

  • Administer the Workday Help ticketing system.

  • Liaise with our Immigration counsel to support new hires and existing employees with their immigration cases.

  • Perform internal data auditing and quality control efforts.

  • Implement processes to maintain data integrity controls and effectively manage data dependencies. 

  • Work with HRBPs to resolve questions relating to employee data and any issues that arise.

  • Develop and prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other complex documents as needed.

  • Electronic employee personnel file management

  • Work closely within HR and other departments in developing and implementing new processes and activities. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in the Human Resources field

  • Knowledge related to HR systems and related business process workflows.

  • Knowledge of employment law and how it impacts the design and administration of HR programs.

  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.

  • Ability to work on complex HR problems where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors including legal regulations, company culture, and standard methodologies.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to present HR information in large forums.

Preferred Qualifications of the Human Resources Operations Specialist:

  • Experience with Workday as an HR Platform 

  • Experience assisting with employee immigration cases

What we offer:

The gross annualized salary range for this role is $75,000 - $80,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
