JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate for this position is a detailed-oriented individual with strong communication skills, be able to grasp complex situation in a short period of time, have good time management skills and ability to prioritize the workload. The position is an ideal entry point to gain broad experiences in Private Debt and to develop into an asset class expert in different areas of the firm.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Data collection & processing in the context of corporate lending transactions and other Private Debt strategies
  • Produce and update research material on the asset class
  • Provide assistance to investment professionals and other team members
  • Assist with market research and performance analysis
  • Assist and perform ad hoc projects and reviews related to the client requests
  • Assist with various other projects and analyses for the Private Debt team

Requirements

  • Master's degree in finance or business preferred
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with demonstrated history of taking initiative, being adaptive in a fast-changing environment, and working independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint), VBA knowledge is a plus
  • Good data management and analytical skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Follow-up skills and acute attention to accuracy and detail are essential
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written), German is a plus
