Responsibilities

  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of investment managers across a wide array of asset classes and investment vehicles through both a quantitative and qualitative lens
  • Contribute to the monitoring and assessment of third-party manager performance and other unique investment strategies
  • Conduct market research on investment trends and industry developments
  • Analyze and report on various model portfolios
  • Interface with Corient’s portfolio management and alternatives teams as needed
  • Participate in producing research materials to support investment decisions
  • Support best-in-class client service​ and content creation
  • Provide robust support to internal colleagues through excellent communication and collaboration

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be a rising junior or senior by the summer of 2025
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated coursework or experience in finance, economics, or mathematics
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant financial software is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Able to work across multiple internal and external departments and individuals​
  • Works to see multiple points of view to reach shared objective​
  • Able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and written, in a variety of settings and with multiple communication styles
  • Previous internship, work, or classwork experience in finance or a related field is preferred but not required

Individuals in this job family drive adoption of the Corient investment platform, serving as a subject matter expert on the breadth of investment solutions available across traditional and alternative asset classes. ​

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
