Job Description:

As part of TD Securities, Global Operations and Business Services, Corporate Lending Operations is dedicated to providing outstanding service as we support lending and administrative activities for TD Securities Corporate Clients. The Corporate Lending Operations team is comprised of over 70 experienced individuals across multiple groups who are dedicated to the following:

  • CAIRO Administration:  processing and distribution of authorized corporate credits housed in the CAIRO credit origination system and the approval database.
  • Bi-lat Loan Administration: provides administrative, transactional and support functions for Bi-lateral and Participant deals.
  • Agency Administration:  provides administrative, transactional and support for TD Agented deals.
  • Loan Sales & Trading: provides support in the settlement of loan trades.
  • Retail and Non-Negotiable:  is responsible for compliance tracking, servicing foreign currency loans for the enterprise and providing general banking support.

Job Description

We are looking for individuals who enjoy working both independently and as a part of a team, with the desire to develop tactical & strategic solutions. This role includes the end to end processing of corporate loan servicing involving the administrative closing of deals, provision of loan servicing support for corporate and commercial lending portfolios in a professional and timely manner. Expected to deliver agreed lending/financing services as specified in the credit agreement/approval and ensures all required policies, guidelines and standards are met.

Being able to take initiative with strong relationship skills; including proven influencing, conflict management and negotiation skills. The team is heavily involved in strategic initiatives, business development, and process improvements to drive efficiency, improve client service levels and reduce risk.

  • Responsible for the end-to-end administration of syndicated deal life cycle management from the setup of new deals, amendments, daily servicing activities, reconciliation, to end of life management.
  • You will oversee credit documentation review, upkeep and maintenance of client profiles / records, customer service and day-to-day account operations.
  • Process transactions in accordance with credit approvals and documentation, and in compliance with laid down policies and procedures
  • Reconciliation of interest and/or fee notices for syndicated facilities
  • Responsible for the monitoring and distribution of incoming electronic transaction correspondences
  • You will establish relationships with partners and communicate complex issues to a wide array of businesses.
  • Addresses customer services issues according to established parameters, escalating as required
  • You effectively handle crucial and/or high-risk issues, resolving most appropriate and expeditious course for the successful resolution by exercising tact and subtlety and maintaining good customer relations
  • You ensure the quality of own work and understand its end-to-end impact on the activities of others within and outside of own function / unit
  • Organizes work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Executes on routine and ad-hoc requests such as service requests, transactions, queries, preparing customer notifications and billings, processing transactions including loan advances/payments, SBLC setups, wire transfers and clearing financial exceptions, etc timely
  • Adhere to strict deadlines, while handling high volumes of work in a demanding environment
