Product Manager, Yahoo Finance (Personal Finance)
Yahoo Finance is looking for an exceptional individual to help build Personal Finance products for the 240 million users in the United States that come to Yahoo every month. You will define and launch a suite of content, tools and products which help our users build their wealth and find the financial products that are right for them. This is a role that will require high-level strategic vision combined with a strong bias towards action and pragmatic execution, underpinned by a deep understanding of user needs.
In addition, because of the unique nature of Personal Finance products in the United States, this business unit is 100% on U.S. users. For Yahoo Finance, Personal Finance is focused on credit cards, checking/savings accounts, mortgages (home purchase), personal loans, insurance and other similar products as seen on https://finance.yahoo.com/personal-finance/.
The Role:
Yahoo Finance is in the early stages of creating a full suite of products that help U.S. consumers make smarter financial decisions with confidence. This role will play a key part in defining and launching those products.
Understand user needs and interests across a variety of consumer financial products: Credit cards, mortgages, checking & savings, personal loans, insurance, etc.
Translate strategic vision into a product roadmap, intelligent requirements and launched products.
Work closely throughout the organization from ad sales, SEO, design, engineering, content to shape new products and ensure continued success of existing products.
Effectively balance short-term goals and needs with long term ambitions.
Drive revenue growth across product lines.
About You
Location: Bangalore. Hybrid remote, 3 days in office.
4+ years experience as a Product Manager with a strong track record of understanding user needs and shipping impactful products
Deeply interested and knowledgeable about U.S. FinTech products
Knowledge and experience with U.S. consumers
Able to communicate concisely combined with an eagerness to communicate readily
Highly analytical, but able to recognize that not all parts of a user journey are easily quantifiable
Knowledgeable about SEO
Thoughtful about trade-offs required to ship product efficiently
Respectful and caring of fellow team members and our broader organization
