We seek a highly skilled HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team. This role is hired on a 1-year fixed-term contract (with benefits).

The HRBP will be important in shaping our company culture, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering employee engagement. Additionally, the HRBP will oversee HR operations, payroll management, and the Workday HRIS system.

About You

We’re looking to recruit an HRBP, APeC (1-year contract) reporting to the HR Director (Growth Market) based in Singapore.  This is an individual contributor role.

The HRBP will serve as an advisor to our managers and employees, aligning HR practices with business goals and ensuring HR operational support for the APeC region (Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Japan and individual employees in India, Vietnam and South Korea).

What You’ll Be Doing 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with APeC employees and managers by driving the development & delivery of people strategies & plans for business needs. 
  • Effectively partner with regional and corporate HR to implement corporate initiatives and effective HR programs.
  • Review & implement compensation & benefits policies to ensure the company remains competitive while optimizing motivation & reward, in line with the corporate compensation & benefits framework.
  • Provide support on diverse matters including recruitment, performance management, reward & talent management, people development, capability building, employee relations, policy development, succession planning and compensation & benefits.
  • Serve as a business partner to managers; coach the representative management team through employee-related issues and ensure local Labour law compliance.
  • Ensure the HRIS system is maintained promptly.
  • Manage the payroll process by liaising with external vendors monthly.
  • Compliance with procedures that implement the requirements of the EHS policies and procedures.
  • Drive HR Analytics and prepare monthly HR Dashboards

EHS responsibility:

  • Compliance with procedures that implement the requirements of the EHS policies and procedures.
  • Being responsible for the actions of the assigned element owners
  • Carry out the work in a manner which does not present a risk to him/herself, others and the environment.
  • Report all incidents, defects, hazards and inadequacies of procedures so that appropriate review and corrective action can be taken.
  • Suggest improvements and be active in the general improvement of all systems and methods of work to ensure EHS Support’s activities and services are carried out in a safe, environmentally responsible, reliable and cost-effective manner.

Location

This role is assigned to be based in the Asia Pacific HQ in Biopolis (near Buona Vista MRT).

What You’ll have

  • 5 years of HR experience
  • Good business insights and can understand and drive changes to
  • Demonstrated competence in the various HR functional areas.
  • Good knowledge of local Labor Law and compliance culture.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written English.
  • Ability to work independently and work as business partners with the local management team.
  • Self-motivated, with good initiative and persistent to work through challenges.
