We are MiQ, a programmatic media partner for marketers and agencies. Specializing in data science, analytics, and programmatic trading, we excel at swiftly addressing challenges to ensure our clients' media investments are consistently directed toward the right opportunities in the right places.

This role will support the growth of revenue in our MiQ MENA Office, across agencies and direct clients in the MENA region. The successful candidate will be required to lead and deliver the commercial strategy for that patch, which centers around our innovative programmatic products and solutions. Hungry to solve challenges, you will be tasked with the end-to-end commercial delivery of key MiQ’s products to retain and grow existing business as well as scoping out and winning new business.

Success in this role demands a proactive and strategic approach to engaging with both new and existing clients across the MENAT region. You will deliver seamlessly integrated solutions and innovative proposals that fully leverage MiQ’s capabilities. Comfortable presenting complex solutions to stakeholders at all levels, you will work closely with the MD of MENA to forecast and achieve targets while driving the strategic accounts initiative across the region. This position is pivotal to MiQ MENA’s growth strategy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITITES

Delivering Numbers

  • Consistently achieving regional and personal sales targets, delivering business updates from your patch on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for producing weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts that feed into the overall MiQ forecasting & reporting process.
  • Lead by example in achieving personal sales targets, demonstrating consistent adherence to best practices and effective sales techniques.

Strategy

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the MENAT region in collaboration with senior management.
  • Lead on the production of quarterly commercial plans.
  • Effective prioritisation & internal alignment on retention & growth strategies for key accounts in MENA.
  • Lead on establishing strong QBR rhythm for key (strategic) accounts – in collaboration with Account Management, Strategy and other teams.
  • Work closely with the cross functional team to tailor bespoke brief responses & pitches that unlock revenue growth opportunities within key accounts.

Communication

  • Develop, maintain and manage relationships within agencies through a strong and constructive relationship, built on trust.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other departments within the business – Client Services, Trading, Strategy, Product and Operations to ensure we deliver the best in market service for our clients.
  • Foster a culture of open communication, collaboration, and accountability within the sales team, promoting a supportive and high-performance environment

Product knowledge

  • Through proactive planning and collaboration, construct a simplified but engaging narrative via great storytelling and proposal articulation.
  • Proactively uncover and identify business wide or media challenges, which can be addressed or solved via MiQ’s innovative products and solutions.
  • Curate, innovate and articulate an end-to-end programmatic solution from briefing stage to delivery effectively.

Process excellence

  • Consistently align with internal processes & best practices
  • Deliver high quality, timely OKRs that have meaningful impact on business growth
  • Support and where necessary lead on recruitment & onboarding of new members of the sales team

  • 10+ years of working in Programmatic sales (digital sales will be considered)Well established senior-level agency connections across key regional agencies
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive change
  • Deep knowledge of agency dynamics and ways of working
