Your New Role: 

The Sr. Analyst, Monetization & Portfolio Management position is responsible for providing business systems analysis services and support for the Content Sales division and its IT solutions.  This includes delivery of quality documentation, training and meeting business requirements (e.g., business system analysis and functional design requirements); communicating status input for management reporting to business and WBD executives. It is expected that this position will have knowledge to help triage issues for applications and collaborate with third party providers on required configuration updates as appropriate. This position will collaborate extensively with the Content Sales business area both in Burbank and across international territories and various technology teams both WBD and third party providers.

Your Role Accountabilities: 

  • This role will require you to work directly with our key business sponsor and business unit in Burbank. Part of a local Burbank technology team supporting Digital transactional systems from announcing product availability dates to collecting product revenue. 20%

  • Quickly respond, provide technical assistance, and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance. 20%

  • Work with our project and enhancement teams to help document and test new functionality being delivered as part of our regular application releases. 15%

  • Engaging with our business partners to understand the key business processes and how technology can be used to help automate and streamline those processes. Designing solutions to fulfil requirements and improve business processes. 15%

  • Working directly with our Salesforce support team to review, troubleshoot and understand how to prioritize issues based on business impact. 10%

  • Drive your own projects from requirements gathering to execution. Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests. 10%

  • Proactively engage in continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts. 5%

  • Document all implementation processes and procedures as well as ‘how-to’ documentation and training for the business. 5%

Qualifications & Experiences: 

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required in Information Systems or related field.

  • Solid experience in a business systems analysis or relationship management role working with business partners with a complex portfolio of applications across multiple technology platforms.

  • Proven experience with Salesforce CRM, particularly sales cloud.

  • Knowledge of entertainment industry desired.

  • Experience in implementing and supporting a complex set of applications that rely on a large number of interfacing systems.

  • Knowledge and practical application of the software development Life Cycle (SDLC), with industry standard best practice methodologies or equivalent.

  • Specific understanding of key technical components required to provide functional and operational support to the business, including effort estimates and resource management.

  • Prior experience in defining and developing systems requirements.

  • Understanding of Legal requirements relating to Technology, such as Data Privacy compliance relationships between systems.

Not Required but preferred experience: 

  • Must be well organized and disciplined with the ability to prioritize workload and use time effectively.

  • Must be self-motivated and work with limited supervision, and able to manage a complex workload of multiple projects and customers.

  • Strong problem-solving, statistical and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of cloud applications/platforms, relational databases and web technologies.

  • Ability to create clear, detailed, concise documentation - architecture diagrams, presentations, and design documents.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build productive cross-departmental relationships and motivate team members. Must have a positive, can-do attitude and value collaboration.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and professional skills to interact with clients, site peers, local management and executives on technical issues and project planning.

  • Ability to initiate and drive an agenda and to manage delivery of a wide and evolving range of tasks and initiatives.

  • Ability to thrive in an agile environment.

  • Excellent analytical skills, interpretive and evaluative skills.

  • Ability to interact with a diverse global base of business groups and bring requirements to business problems and translate into IT solutions.

  • Able to build an excellent rapport with business and instills trust (meets deadlines; open and honest; keeps business up to date; responsive within appropriate timescales; communicates in way business can understand).  

  • Knowledge of industry standard tools including Microsoft Office applications, Visio or other process/data modelling software required.

  • Familiarity working in a matrix organization including internal and external (3rd party service provider) resources.

  • Experience implementing process and system changes to existing process and live production applications.

  • Experience in project and change management of major development or operations projects.

  • Knowledge of enterprise system software solutions and the integration of business process design to final solution determination.

  • Application design experience being comfortable with requirements, definition, and realization.

  • Ability to gather functional requirements and translate to functional and technical design solutions.

  • Ability to develop and maintain project plans, budgets.

  • Excellent analytical skills, interpretive and evaluative skills.

  • Ability to work successfully across organizational lines and influence outcomes.

  • Takes responsibility for technology related business partner issues that are escalated to them and proactively drives things to completion.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in person and on the telephone.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $83,090.00 - $154,310.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
