We act as strategic partners to the APJ Leadership Team, ensuring they have the support they need to achieve their goals. We regionalize and contextualize global programs, custom-build regional programs, and provide just-in-time support in order to deliver quantifiable impact on go-to-market performance in APJ.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

The Opportunity

Datadog continues to grow at a rapid rate and with this exciting growth, our onboarding and ongoing training is also quickly increasing in scale and complexity. This position is responsible for providing onboarding and ongoing enablement training/programs to our go-to-market teams in Korea. We are looking for a structured communicator with a knack for simplifying the complex to deliver the training content, curriculum, and programs that enable our sales people to be successful in their jobs.

  • Deliver live and virtual sales onboarding and ongoing training programs that equip sellers and sales leaders with the essential knowledge and skills required to be successful in their role
  • Regionalize training programs by incorporating Korea-specific deals, customers, competitors, etc. into the content and talk tracks, and translating into Korean where appropriate
  • Gather program data and feedback, and provide insights to the Curriculum team to help evolve existing training programs and shape future programs to better meet the needs of our sellers and sales leaders
  • Provide on-the-spot training and coaching, and curate workshops for sellers and sales leaders on an as-needed basis
  • Embed with sales to empathize with the realities of selling Datadog, but be willing to challenge assumptions to help the sales organization grow
  • Champion sales / go-to-market enablement programs at Datadog
  • Become an expert in our sales process and methodology, products, go-to-market philosophy, and industry
  • Give and receive regular feedback, learn and share facilitation best practices, and upskill alongside the rest of your team

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years in learning and development, revenue enablement, in a training, or teaching role (can include non-sales concepts) at a technology company
  • Demonstrated history of coaching and mentoring colleagues around key role elements
  • Experience presenting day-long or multi-day trainings
  • High ownership: you won’t be satisfied until every salesperson achieves their potential
  • Outstanding verbal and written communicator: you make the complex simple
  • Team oriented and empathetic: you can work with analysts, engineers, reps, whomever!
  • Fluent in both Korean and English
  • This role may require up to 10% travel

Bonus Points:

  • Experience at a high growth Software-as-a-Service or technology company
  • Experience in a Sales or Customer Success role
  • Knowledge of DevOps or cloud technologies
  • Experience with Enablement Technology (Gong, Docevo, MindTickle)
  • Experience training on Sales Methodologies (MEDDIC and Command of the Message)

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
