YOUR MISSION

This role will require a mix of operations, stakeholder management, analytical skills, and creativity to tackle different challenges. The couriers, Glovers for us, are a key player in Glovo’s marketplace and you will need to ensure the fleet's long-term sustainability, as well as its healthy contribution to the operational performance and user experience in Italy.

THE JOURNEY

  • Being part of the Supply Operations Team, support the Operations Manager with improvement ideas for scalable processes and procedures;
  • Be responsible for the Glovo service in a subset of the cities of the assigned area, by analyzing the Glovers requirements to sustain orders demand and growth, having a complete understanding of the local supply situation at all times.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor activities that have been identified to fix KPIs deviations or improve User Experience (or costs) performance within the assigned area;
  • Think out of the box to bring new ideas of process improvements that will be game changer to ensure the best user experience related to Glovers (couriers);
  • Be there for the Glovers when they need support, assisting them on a diverse range of topics, varying from app functionalities to payments and other topics they face on a day to day basis. 
  • Provide constant feedback and insights on the status of the fleet in the city and region to the Operations Manager
  • Be responsible for implementing processes and optimizing strategies involving the acquisition and retention of the couriers.
  • Perform analysis and create dashboards to give visibility on the performance of the main operational KPIs.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Strong academic background in a quantitative subject (engineering, economics, mathematics, statistics, or similar fields);
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high demanding positions (operations, technology, consulting, investment banking, etc.);
  • Excellent communicator and a great attitude in problem solving
    Have initiative, be proactive and autonomous - Glovo is also yours!
  • Have good energy and like what you do, even on bad days
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
  • Very Hands-on, willingness to get hands dirty, go on the field and support couriers;
  • Advanced Excel and Data Interpretation skills
  • Professional level in English and Italian.
