Indirect Category Manager
Location: Shanghai
What you will do:
- Manage a professional service portfolio, including Finance, HR, Marketing, and Insurance, with an annual spend of $180 million.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a commodity inventory operational strategy that supports the company's supply chain.
- Evaluate market conditions to ensure optimal inventory levels while controlling costs.
- Assess and recommend vendors to support procurement activities.
- Manage ongoing relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and resolve any issues.
How you will do it:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify best practices and emerging trends in the procurement of indirect services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Lead negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions that benefit the organization.
- Implement processes to track savings, performance metrics, and vendor compliance to support continuous improvement.
- Utilize analytical skills to evaluate spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
What we look for:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on category management and indirect services.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
