Team Overview

Cash Services is an enterprise-wide utility providing financial integrity and efficiency through comprehensive payroll management, strategic cash flow optimization and robust payment capabilities controls, empowering our organization to thrive and our employees to succeed.

Payment Controls Operations, as part of Cash Services, is responsible for enabling a framework for movement of funds risk and portfolio governance oversight for Citi.  Leads strategy and initiatives to implement new or enhanced governance processes and enable operationalization of enterprise-wide standards.

What you’ll do

  • Lead specific business processes and strategies, developing and implementing solutions in specific areas.
  • Monitors goals and able to translate insights into business cases to aid decision making.
  • Develops a broad and detailed understanding of the organization’s landscape, culture, and technology to promote a framework for standardization.
  • Independently assess processes across lines of businesses, and drive actions to accomplish desired results.
  • Develops visualization and narratives for management reporting and escalation.
  • Ensure completeness in documentation, reporting in specific area.
  • Collaborate with, and influence stakeholders to ensure progress on initiatives.
  • Regularly assess processes, tools, and methodologies to suggest enhancements in efficiency, effectiveness, and impact.
  • Research, document and exports best practices through documentation or training
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfil our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values

What we’ll need from you

  • Significant years of relevant experience
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to think critically, influence to solve complex problems, and drive innovative solutions.
  • Adaptability, able to work with ambiguity and change
  • Business writing, presentation skills experience required.
  • Experience in operations

These aspects would be considered a plus:

  • Exposure to process improvement
  • Experience in Operational risk
