In addition, this position provides project management support to the Technical Services and Canadian Operations Teams.

What you will do:

  • Accountable for managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risks of an assigned project to assure its successful delivery.

  • Ensures the project management, planning, and construction activities meet internal and external partner needs and requirements (including standards, specifications, practices, procedures and codes).

  • Develops, monitors and updates project execution model to fit project’s complexity and sensitivity.

  • Provides business and project management advise during the planning, design, construction and maintenance activities of a project to ensure alignment between philosophies, goals and outcomes.

  • Establishes and manages robust communication practices to provide timely updates on project’s status and performance to project partners.

  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring alignment to financial constraints.

  • Performs forecasting, accruals, and reporting with reasonable accuracy and details.

  • Anticipates and actively monitors project risks/uncertainties and takes proactive actions to correct adverse situations or trends.

  • Establishes project team and manages internal and external team members in a manner that results in projects incurring reasonable costs.

  • Lead and empower project teams, encouraging collaboration and ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.

Who You Are:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or applicable technical certification in EI&C subject area, or a combination of technical education and related experience.

  • A minimum of 6 years of progressively complex Project Management and/or construction management experience including general understanding of gas pipelines and facilities operations. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Anticipate obstacles, challenges and risks to proactively determine mitigation strategies and innovative solutions to problems.

  • Experience working with Operations teams.

  • Able to read engineering drawing and materials reports.

  • Valid driver’s license and solid understanding of related software including MS Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • PMP Certification or equivalent.

Working Conditions

  • Office environment with some field work required.

  • Scheduled travel to Enbridge offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier facilities in Canada (up to 25%).

  • Available outside normal work hours to address any technical, cost, safety, quality and environmental issues that occur during active projects.
