Position Summary

This role will support the HCB Segment reporting team to assist with the preparation and distribution of periodic financial reporting used internally and externally by collaborating with Business Unit controllers and other Aetna counterparts to obtain and summarize financial data accurately to meet established deadlines. 

What you will do:

  • Preparation and distribution of various financial reporting, including collection of financial data from various sources (Hyperion/Business Unit Controllers). 
  • Designs (or participates in the design of) the financial reporting strategy to facilitate the interpretation of financial reports through presentations to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Determines how to effectively leverage technology to streamline and automate reporting activities across the organization.
  • Maintains a methodology for financial reporting to establish quality and consistency, including proper SOX documentation.
  • Develops relationships with business unit leaders and industry experts to assist in the development of standardized processes in financial reporting.


Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years work experience

Knowledge of:

  • Accounting, finance and auditing to ensure reliability, accuracy and completeness of financial reports

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Advanced Hyperion skills
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills

Ability To:

  • Complete responsibilities independently with minimal supervision
  • Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Collaborate with multiple departments and areas of the business
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with Leadership.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certificate in Financial Reporting & Analysis preferred.

Skill in:

  • S4/Hana
  • Process improvement utilizing technology to streamline/automate reporting


Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
