UMB’s Specialty Corporate Trust team offers a variety of trust services to the structured finance world for aviation, rail and real estate. We work with customers based across the world to onboard their business and administer trust transactions. Our team supports UMB by bringing in direct revenue to the bank by way of fee revenue and interest income. We offer a niche product and service offering and our team is known around the world as one of a few specialty trust departments that can onboard and administer this unique group of products. 

The SCT Associate Relationship Manager-Legal Assistant role will provide focused administrative support to the internal legal team and the relationship management team in order to support new and existing Corporate Trust clients. This may include, but is not limited to:  Coordinating execution and legalization of transaction documents, processing outgoing mail/packages, compiling data, record keeping, expense reimbursement coordination, coordinating activities with staff, working with law firms, interacting with clients, resolving administrative problems, and special projects.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • You will collaborate with the relationship managers and legal team to facilitate execution of account agreements and other documents in order to facilitate timely closing of transactions.
  • You will support the Specialty Corporate Trust Legal team by responding to client inquiries and answer questions regarding products and services to meet client expectations
  • You will route incoming customer correspondence to appropriate staff members in order to ensure proper flow of communication between UMB and its customers

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • You have 2-3 years related work experience

Compensation Range:

Minimum: $38,910.00 - Maximum: $90,090.00
