As Global Product Owner, Web Unification, this position reports to the Global Content & Channel Director and will be responsible for leading the standardization and unification of a web architecture blueprint for more than 140 FreeStyle websites. This position is instrumental in implementing the groundwork for a future integrated customer experience, putting the customers at the heart of the web journey, and ensuring ADC’s websites are rooted in delivering best-in-class user experience for customer attraction and retention. This role will be responsible for web initiatives across the entire lifecycle, from strategy and planning through technical and creative dependencies, production, QA, launch and post-launch analysis.
This is a fully on-site position in Alameda, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible as Global Product Owner for FreeStyle Libre (FSL) web sites including leading the Web Unification program to provide a standardized and unified web architecture (Web U) blueprint across 140 FSL website globally.
- Define the Web U product vision, roadmap and own the innovation strategy that includes understanding market trends, competition as well as Customer Experience roadmap & signature moments.
- Be the subject-matter-expert of web with deep understanding of the technology, architecture and its value in overall customer journey and experience.
- Translate roadmap and vision into actionable tasks with detailed features and functionalities requirement documentation, delivery timeline, and working closely with IT delivery partners, Global/Area/Affiliate marketing to bring the product/service to life.
- Build and lead our Web discipline. You will be responsible and accountable for the performance of the Web channel.
- Audit technical infrastructure, information architecture and site features, and execute site improvements to enhance the effectiveness of SEO and onsite experience.
- Design and operationalize websites in service of commercial, brand and product strategies that ensure operational efficiencies and consistency globally considering the current and future digital customer experience.
- Build scalable web templates, playbooks, and governance, using quantitative and qualitative data to inform recommendations to continually improve the experience.
- Develop globally unified web marketing and product experience in partnership with Global, Area and Affiliate Marketing across: Brand, Product, Content, Customer Service, and IT. Work seamlessly within Global Experience Innovation and other Global Product Owners, cross-functional partners to ensure consistency and alignment of purpose to attain the GCX goal of unified and best-in-class customer experience.
- Define marketing technology requirements needed to support our Web Marketing and work with IT teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Support Regional and Country teams in driving best in class website through consideration, adoption, onboarding and retention journey aligned with the overall customer experience across channels.
- Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to create wireframes and page components and deliver effective and compelling online experience.
- Monitoring search engine rankings and adjusting ensure that the site is positioned prominently in search results for keywords associated with the business.
- Leverage experimentation and search optimization to maximize the performance of FSL websites.
- Developing and implementing strategies for improving recruitment and retention of FSL users through the website.
- Partner with our analytics team on developing and implementing web measurement strategy. Lay out the framework for measurement and reporting to monitor and improve the performance of our website.
- Analyzing website traffic statistics to measure the effectiveness of online campaigns.
- Create requirements and actionable updates from analytics and insights.
Qualification & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in web marketing, e-commerce, digital marketing, or similar role
- Experience in development and execution of web projects from initiation to implementation to optimization tied to digital marketing plans.
- Expertise in SEO and SEM. Solid understanding of technical SEO including sitemaps, meta tags, JavaScript indexing, linking, redirects, keyword research, etc.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Have a track-record of demonstrating an extraordinary level of ownership, project management and implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence with people outside your immediate team.
- Ability to craft business cases to influence and advocate with different cross-functional partners.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to align efforts across multiple departments.
- Deep experience and knowledge of web marketing tools across content management (Contentful/ Adobe Modular Content), web analytics (Google Analytics)/Adobe Analytics), attribution/tracking (GTM, Adobe) and SEO (SEMRush/Crownpeak/Ahrefs/Moz, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders across multiple time zones and non-traditional work hours.
- Must know Adobe AEM.

The base pay for this position is
$144,100.00 – $288,300.00
In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
