The Manager, Business Transformation is responsible for planning and overseeing the transfer and successful implementation of relevant operational insights that aims to drive process efficiencies to TaskUs’ global delivery and operations teams. It encompasses all transitions within TaskUs that are focused on operational, procedural or governance changes. The role will be working closely with the Global Transformation Team to execute insights, deliver projects and assess effectiveness aligned with the organization’s strategic goals (performance, financial, compliance), and champion TaskUs’ Global Operating Model within the delivery and operations team.
What does a Manager, Business Transformation do?
The role is responsible for creating, defining and monitoring the implementation of a business transition/transformation plan. The Transitions Manager will be accountable for working with middle-to-senior management to drive processes, ensuring quality and timeliness of deployment is aligned with the TaskUs’ operating model.
Work with the Global Transformation, Operations and Service Delivery teams to define targets, priorities and expected ROIs.
Funnel insights to the Global Transformation Team on lessons learned, nuances, roadblocks or conflicts for purposes of redesigning future transitions and approach for global process alignment, must be able to identify issues, provide resolution, and craft process improvements.
Monitor outcomes based on predefined success criteria of Transformation Initiatives at a global, cross-functional scale.
Establish internal audit processes within the delivery teams to ensure adherence to current business processes; develop intervention plans and create sustainable operating procedures.
Cultivate a BAU process following successful deployment, and where appropriate, create a post-mortem report to outline failure points, and recommendations for improvement.
Do you have what it takes to be a Manager, Business Transformation?
Must have at least 3 years of supervisory or management experience in the BPO space and extensive exposure globally with either Operations, Delivery or Project Management.
Experience in dealing with cross-functional nuances, that blends strong Operational knowledge and must be exposed and inclined to other, secondary function/s (such as Recruitment, Training, Quality, WFM & Data Science)
Must be a strong communicator and collaborator, and have above-average negotiation skills and have a high level of authority in the subject area.
Must be solution oriented, and can creatively think outside the box when presented with a problem. Have the skill and capacity to turn a “no” into a “yes”, follow through on actions, and must be able to pivot with ease and still achieve agreed results.
Should have relevant experience in driving departmental improvements or can showcase credibility on adherence to project management standards, improving aggressive SLAs, leading campaign/KPI recovery efforts and the like. The candidate should be able to address cross-functional dependencies, impacts and must be able to discern dependencies, risks, impacts and be able to immediately pivot into a solution when needed, and collaborate and negotiate action plans and timelines with relevant stakeholders.
Must have exposure to basic Project Management methodologies, particularly on Scope, Stakeholder and Risk Management. Experience in Project Management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com etc) is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
