The Team:

S&P Global Market Intelligence’s (MI) Software Business comprises five key products: Corporate Actions, Cappitech, EDM, Thinkfolio, and Tax Solutions. This role is crucial for managing cross-product initiatives, ensuring effective performance management, reporting, and maintaining alignment with product roadmaps. The Project Manager will oversee efficiency initiatives, ideas management, and talent management programs, ensuring product managers stay accountable to their commitments.

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Project Manager to lead cross-business projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing cross business initiatives and streamlining business, people, technology and management reporting processes across multiple products. This role is ideal for those who excel in cross-functional leadership and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans that align with company goals and product roadmaps. Manage project execution to ensure timely completion within scope and budget.
  • Cross-Product Coordination: Oversee and coordinate cross-product initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency. Facilitate communication and collaboration among product managers to maintain alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Performance and Reporting: Track and report on performance metrics and KPIs across all product lines. Ensure regular updates and transparent communication with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Risk and Change Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs to minimize disruption to project timelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, product teams, and clients. Provide regular updates and feedback, ensuring alignment and promptly addressing any issues.
  • Talent and Ideas Management: Oversee talent management initiatives, ensuring the development and retention of top talent. Manage the process for capturing and implementing innovative ideas across the product lines.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the software or financial services industry.

Soft Skills required:

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
