Job Purpose: To independently perform staff level accounting functions that deal with accounting issues of normal complexity to support business processes and provide further experience with Caterpillar accounting practices,  and coordinate communications from Corporate to Business Cycle, Process and Control Owners including reporting initiatives and updates related to the Sarbanes – Oxley ACT and Fraud & Antibribery controls, as well as monitor its application through independent testing to ensure key controls are working effectively and as intended and the business is in compliance and aligned to corporate and local governance.

Job Duties:

This role will focus on fixed assets end to end management, control and compliance coordinator, and continuous improvement projects management.

Areas to support could include: 
1) Financial accounting, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, consolidations;
2) Provide support for capital investment financial analysis, FA management and lead engineering team for regular physical count;
3) Coordinate CRDC internal control management improvement, develop and maintain internal controls procedure documents and support auditing and follow up action plans;

4) Lead improvement process and compliance risk related projects, digital transactions, etc.
5) Other task assigned.

The Accountant will demonstrate knowledge and ability to independently handle accounting issues. They will demonstrate good communication skills and project management capabilities.

Job requirements

1）Requires a 4-year degree in accounting.

2）Over 5 years Accounting working experience is required, comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s accounting processes & systems and frequently interacts and works outside is required

3）Has CMA/CPA Equivalent is plus

4) Good command of English and communication skills
