TITLE: Sr. Analyst - Supply Chain Finance F&II
LOCATION: Westchester, Illinois
REPORTS TO: Director, Operations Finance F&I US/CAN
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Sr. Analyst-Supply Chain Finance is a lead member of the finance team that is the liaison between logistics, supply chain, procurement, operations, commercial, accounting, and regional finance. Will perform financial analysis, focusing on logistics and supply chain costs, to support the U.S./Canadian Region planning and decision-making processes that ensure the profitability and sustainability of the business. F&II Supply Chain costs represent 70% of total expenditure for freight & distribution in the US/CAN Network, and a robust mix of railcar fleet assets, breakstations, warehouses, and unique modes of transportation.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
- Manage the month-end close process for freight ledger accounts, and generation of journal entries as required. Interact with Shared Service Center finance staff to ensure accuracy of accounting entries.
- Lead annual and quarterly forecasts and all pre-work required by preparing US/CAN logistics budget, analytically reviewing forecasts for financial integrity, completeness and being reflective of current expectations.
- Evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual results against forecasts identifying performance drivers and highlighting risk and opportunities. Keep appraised of business developments to assess financial impacts, make value-added recommendations and prepare ad hoc analyses for executive team that facilitate sound business decisions, forecasts and strategies.
- Develop new and streamline existing processes and systems as required to ensure more efficient delivery of value-add information to both internal and external stakeholders. Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies where possible.
- Serve as a finance partner in building network cost models for existing and future network designs
- Serve as a finance partner in assessing supply chain cost saving initiatives, and associated tracking of realized savings
- Bring transparency to freight recovery and act as liaison to commercial & supply chain leaders to ensure action to close gaps
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with logistics and supply chain teams that will help facilitate effective communication of business plans and results.
- Assist in benchmarking studies to highlight areas of opportunities, financial forecasting improvement reviews and other financial reporting projects as required.
- Deal efficiently and effectively with dynamic change and support the team to deliver results timely and accurately.
- Drive compliance of internal controls and governance with excellence
- Provide finance team support, solving accounting issues, research and preparation of miscellaneous account analyses, and management of special projects
- Drive acclimation and adaptation of step-changed ways of working through influence, education and training of business partners.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, accounting or auditing
- Strong analytical acumen to thoroughly understand, recommend improvements, and align affiliate/region reporting
- Strong attention to details
- Experience planning, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial/strategic impacts of business decisions.
- Proficient in cash flow, balance sheet and income statement analysis, and budgeting process.
- Flexibility to be involved in both finance and accounting roles Strong computer skills with knowledge in the use of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with SAP, SAP BW, SAP BPS/BI-IP and BPC required.

Pay Range:
$95,300.00-$127,100.00 Annual
This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
