Field Marketing Manager

You will define the solutions focus areas, strategic direction and marketing and demand generation needs to create a pipeline specific to Federal prospects. You will work with partners to develop a best-in-class ecosystem of security expertise. And you will drive and insure customer success, engagement and loyalty in the Federal/Pubsec market.

Roles / Responsibilities

  • Own the development and execution of the field marketing strategy for the federal market, including civilian, defense and intelligence sectors
  • Execute strategic events and campaigns to drive net new pipeline and support sales
  • Work with top partners to plan and execute joint programs to drive growth against quarterly goals.
  • Drive local, thought leadership events and lunch & learns to engage the community on the topic of physical security
  • Work closely with the federal sales team and leadership to understand specific market priorities and inform and shape prospect-facing field programs contributing to pipeline and opportunity creation
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience with 3+ years experience in the Federal Civilian public sector market.
  • Deep understanding of federal personas and the federal purchasing and procurement process
  • Strong ability to logistically execute on multiple concurrent events  that require effective pre/during/post motions and communication among cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with channel and strategic partners to plan and execute on programs that achieve excellent results

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
