Job Description Summary:

Will work as a support person for the Epic Training Team. This is a temporary position that will begin June, 2024 and end October, 2024. Will be part of clinical informatics department under the direct supervision of the Training Lead.
Employee is subject to call back as required by the hospital.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Will work as Training support personnel during the Epic implementation project. 
  • Will assist Super Users and Trainers in the training rooms as needed.
  • Will assist trainees: to log onto computers, ensure they are in the correct class, ensure that audio and visual on the computer are working as expected.
  • Provide instruction of end users in the use of equipment and supplies in computer training rooms.
  • Will monitor classroom activities to ensure that equipment is not abused and professional behavior is being practiced by all. 
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends. 
  • Participate in end user "Day in the Life" activities and supplemental WTH training / readiness activities
  • Participates in department staff meetings.
  • Represents healthcare system in community and professional development activities.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.  

LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION:

  • None required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • None required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of basic computers and computer skills required. 
  • Knowledge of web-based applications recommended.
