As the Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for the design and development of Group-Wide business learning solutions in a timely, cost-effective and innovative manner. You will manage the end-to-end design process to ensure training content and learning methodologies are reflective of a customer service driven culture and replicate industry best practice.
Working with stakeholders from across the Group, the Learning Experience Designer will work to create a blend of self-paced, facilitator led, workplace and online instruction, as well as assessment, evaluation and other supporting materials. You will also provide SME input into Training Needs Analysis and actively consult with subject matter experts from business units across portfolios to ensure a high standard of learning design and content.
You’ll have:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Learning Experience Design or Instructional Design position
Certificate IV in Workplace Training or tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
Extensive knowledge of and experience in instructional design theories and courseware development
Proven experience utilising learning design tools and technology, including but not limited to Articulate 360, Adobe and PowerPoint
Experience in creating e-learning materials and digital development tools
Proven ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to meet deadlines within a budgetary framework
Strong negotiation skills to effectively address even the most resistant stakeholders and challenging situations
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and think both critically and strategically
Exceptional written and verbal communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
