Overview of Position:

Seeking a highly collaborative, forward-thinking, creative individual to help to continue to build and evolve the Corebridge Financial brand.

This is a critical role, responsible for developing and overseeing integrated paid and owned advertising campaigns and strategic marketing programs that drive awareness and favorability for Corebridge Financial, help boost client and partner awareness, engagement and loyalty, and contribute to business growth.

This position can be offered fully remote for the right candidate. 

Responsibilities

  • Be an integral voice in advancing Corebridge Financial’s vision, purpose, and positioning to drive awareness, familiarity, and relevancy with all audiences.
  • Work closely with our Head of Brand, Sponsorships and Content and Head of Creative Solutions to continue to evolve the Corebridge brand identity, voice and messaging, and support brand activation across multiple business units and channels, including helping to develop breakthrough full funnel marketing strategies, plans and tactics.  
  • Oversee enterprise-wide and line of business brand marketing and advertising programs, partnering with colleagues across the Marketing and Communications organization, internal business partners and external agency partners to shape, test, learn, and optimize creative and content campaigns.
  • Manage creative agency relationships, serving as the primary liaison to agency partners. Track and manage budgets and oversee vendor service agreements/SOWs, RFI’s and RFP’s.
  • Serve a steward of the brand, ensuring a consistent brand voice and vision across our advertising, marketing and communications programs.
  • Partner with VP of Paid Media on advertising strategies,  campaign execution and measurement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource on the Corporate brand creative toolkit/visual identity system.
  • Help to establish and evolve brand-related measurement, attribution, and reporting plans, KPI’s, and dashboards using advanced data and analytics
  • Stay current on industry trends and combine data, insights and creative thinking to develop strategies that fuel our growth and deepen connections with our audiences.
  • Build, evolve, scale and optimize brand processes, tools, and methods.

What you need to know

  • BS degree required in related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of professional marketing experience
  • Solid understanding of financial services industry and life and retirement products and solutions
  • Highly self-directed and motivated with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and an ability to work in collaboration with other business unites.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, including experience writing for advertising and marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, from conception through planning and implementation, with experience in implementing marketing programs across multiple channels and media.
  • Ability to effectively manage through change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong eye for brand and design guidelines
  • Passion for storytelling and translating/adapting ideas and concepts for a variety of audiences
  • Experience implementing paid media strategies
