Our location in Columbus OH, currently has an opportunity for a Business Process Specialist.

Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives:

The Business Process Specialist can be responsible for a variety of assignments.  Based on the business model and the required needs of Americas PRD Operations, these may include, but not limited to:  Training, Engineering, Business Processes, Operational Excellence, or Operations Support.

The Business Process Specialist will adhere to employee health and safety guidelines, maintaining effective employee relations, supporting quality system expectations, and adherence to cGMP.

This position is located at the Columbus Pilot Plant at 625 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, Ohio.

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

  • Provide training on equipment operation for Pilot Plant operators.
  • Support or lead, depending on scope, process improvement projects using project management/lean tools and techniques.
  • Work independently and with other Pilot Plant departments to identify necessary procedure updates, then process the document change requests.
  • Ensure projects and tasks are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and issues or concerns are escalated to management timely.
  • Act as a change agent and help team members learn, understand, and grow within a continuous improvement culture.

Accountability

  • This position will report to the site Operations Manager. This position requires the ability to work independently and elevate issues when appropriate. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING  

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, technical, or business discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:  Operations, R&D, Project Management, Engineering, or similar.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management, communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

The base pay for this position is

$57,300.00 – $114,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
