Summary:
We are looking for an experienced ITSM Systems Developer to join our team, focusing on the ITSM system for Shinsei. This role involves the development, design, and maintenance of ServiceNow ITSM functionalities, including requirements definition, system integration, and platform upgrades. The ideal candidate will have strong ServiceNow development experience, proficiency in JavaScript, and a solid understanding of ITSM processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• ServiceNow Development and AMS: Develop and maintain ITSM applications and modules within the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on Application Management Services (AMS).
• Requirements Definition and Design: Gather, define, and design system requirements to meet business needs and optimize ITSM processes.
• JavaScript and HTTP REST API: Utilize JavaScript for scripting and customization, and work with HTTP REST APIs for system integration and data exchange.
• Table and Report Design: Design and construct tables and reports within ServiceNow to support data management and reporting needs.
• Business Rule and Workflow Design: Create and manage business rules and workflows to automate processes and enhance system efficiency.
• Service Portal Design: Design and build Service Portals to improve user experience and accessibility.
• System Integration: Integrate ITSM systems with other applications to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
• Now Platform Version Upgrade: Manage version upgrades and ensure compatibility with the Now Platform.

Must-Have Skills:
• ServiceNow Development and AMS: Extensive experience with ServiceNow development and Application Management Services (AMS).
• Requirements Definition and Design: Proven experience in defining, documenting, and designing system requirements.
• JavaScript: Proficiency in JavaScript for scripting and customizations.
• HTTP REST API: Experience with HTTP REST APIs for integration and data exchange.
• Table and Report Design: Skills in designing and constructing tables and reports within ServiceNow.
• Business Rule and Workflow Design: Expertise in designing and managing business rules and workflows.
• Service Portal Design: Experience in designing and building Service Portals.
• System Integration: Proven ability to integrate systems and applications.
• Now Platform Version Upgrade: Experience with managing Now Platform upgrades.
• Language Proficiency: English (Must); Japanese - Japanese Language Proficiency: Should be able to read, write and speak in Japanese fluently. Should have the proficiency level of N2/N3.
Nice to have Skills:
• Man-Hour Estimation and Progress Management: Experience in estimating man-hours and managing project progress.
• JavaScript Implementation: Advanced skills in JavaScript implementation techniques.
• Knowledge of ITIL: Understanding of ITIL Foundation principles is a plus.
Additional Information:
• Resource will work in India shift time of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
• Resource will have to follow the Japan holiday calendar and not the India calendar.
• OT might be required if an incident occurs in later half of the day or is prolonged.
