Team/Role Overview
The Business Risk Senior Analyst is a professional role supporting CTI Data Services supervised technologies in Citi from the risk management perspective. This role will contribute to the management of all risk items including but not limited to vulnerability, baseline configuration management, EOVS/EOL control, KRIs supervision, audit issues, corrective action plans and periodical/ad-hoc risk reporting. The role requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.
Responsibilities:
Supports Business Risk Manager in the reporting of all security patching, baseline configuration and file integrity monitoring breaks. Also, cooperates with operational, engineering and application teams to ensure environments are remediated within risk appetite timeframes.
Support and contribute to Operational and Compliance Risk in accordance with established Policy requirements.
Work with the team to identify, assess, escalate, and manage risk exposures across Data in Motion estate.
Perform analysis to support compliance with Risk Appetite and monitor KRIs status.
Helps to identify emerging risks and assists with resolving the issues.
Contributes to Manager Control Assessment (MCA) Quarterly Risk Assessment and the Annual Risk Assessment process.
Be involved with the implementation of standards and procedures that conform to enterprise requirements and support sound operational and compliance risk management.
Share best risk practices, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, supervising and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
4-6 years of relevant experience.
Good experience in reporting and analysis.
Experience in hosting internal meetings.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel.
Tableau working knowledge desired.
Some former IT experience in Operations especially concerning MQ support desired.
Former experience working for international banks/other regulated financial institutions preferred.
