  • Chartered Accountant/CPA with minimum of 15 years of experience accounting advisory services.

  • Expert level knowledge and experience in drafting financial statements as per SEC guidelines.

  • Significant experience working on US GAAP to IFRS conversion projects, business combination transactions, share based payments and complex financial instruments.

  • Preparation and review of technical memos and other disclosures on engagements.

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent team and project management skills.

  • Minimum of 8 years of team lead or in-charge experience overseeing staff on multiple engagements.

  • Manage multiple concurrent engagements within the AFC practice to provide technical accounting and financial or business advisory guidance to clients.

  • Supervise Managers/ Supervisors/ Seniors/ Associates on engagement teams.

  • Demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of complex accounting concepts.

  • Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the consulting work plan and client deliverables.

  • Collaborate directly with firm specialists/subject matter experts on complex accounting matters.

  • Assist in the preparation of technical memos and other client deliverables.

  • Oversee engagement economics and manage appropriate resources for efficient engagement models.

  • Anticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues as they arise; identify performance improvement opportunities.

  • Understand RSM's service lines and work as a team in providing an integrated service delivery.

  • Develop others within the AFC practice through mentoring, training, and advising on career development or participating in other Firm initiatives.

  • Work with US leaders on "go to market" strategy, participating in proposals, pitch meetings, and developing marketing collateral.

  • Subscribe to and actively read industry publications and share relevant information with clients as considered applicable.

  • Ensure professional development through ongoing education.

  • Experience being a liaison between US and India team to understand the importance of working as one team.

  • Open to work on other solution sets considering business requirements.

  • Maintains a high degree of quality and client relationship on multiple clients at the same time.

  • Positively engages, motivates, and influences team members.

  • Identifies client needs/requirements and initiates discussion to expand services through a solid understanding of the firm’s service capabilities and offerings.
