Job Summary
The person hired for the position of Sr. Corporate Auditor will lead and perform audits of moderate to high risk. The employee will gain a broad knowledge of 3M’s processes, functions, and businesses while leading/performing audits of 3M’s plants, subsidiaries, acquisitions and Global Service Center. The employee will be working in a team environment and will serve as a primary point of contact to senior 3M management for the audits they are leading and will play an integral role in implementing the Internal Audit vision and strategies.
Responsibilities
- To lead and/ or work with the audit team in a fast learning environment to conduct financial, operational, and/ or compliance audits
- Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with Corporate and local policies and procedures
- Identify and clearly define audit issues and root causes, provide sound and practical improved internal controls and business processes
- Prepare audit report/ audit findings and present it to the business management team
- Ensure that management action plans are developed, sustainable and implemented on time
- Prepare work papers and adequately document audit work performed to support conclusions reached
- Actively participate in global/ regional initiatives aimed at improving Corporate Audit's processes and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in audit, preferably in manufacturing space
- A highly motivated individual with demonstrated leadership attributes and problem-solving skill will be considered a key contributor to this dynamic audit team
- Possess the drive to gain good knowledge and understanding of the company's policies and procedures and systems
- Confident and comfortable dealing with senior management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including communication to senior management
- Fluency in English, speaking and writing
- Fluency in Asian language (i.e. Mandarin, Japanese, Korean etc.) is desirable.
- Full availability for international travels to APAC countries and the global (travel frequency 30-50%)
- Experience in SAP ERP will be an added advantage
- Qualification of CPA, CIA, ACCA or equivalent is preferred
