Project Manager (PM) provides daily support and project execution for many activities in the BIP. The PM will collaborate primarily with BIP team members as well as individuals outside the program and IDHI. The PM reporting to the Institute of Digital Health and Innovation (IDHI) Brain Injury Program (BIP) Director of Operations, the
The Project Manager must possess the skills and drive to execute multiple projects while demonstrating high-level organizational skills, the ability to adapt well to change, and to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Exquisite attention to detail, the ability to build rapport with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both autonomously and with internal and external teams are essential skills for this position. The PM will ensure all team members and contributors have what they need and are on track to meet deadlines and the milestones set for the ADH and ACL grant deliverables. This will include support for project-related scheduling, tracking, and reminders as well as developing productive agendas, schedules, report writing, purchasing, monitoring and tracking project budgets within the grant and university system.
Of particular importance to BIP is the statewide Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Registry. The PM will work closely with the BIP Assistant Director to maintain the TBI Registry, support upgrades, provide reporting, and analytics upon request. The PM will also assist with related research as requested usually involving the TBI Registry.
The PM will assist with coordinating data collection efforts, reporting, and grant applications working closely with the BIP Assistant Director. The PM will assist project developers as needed with training and updates to project management tracking via project management software (currently Monday.com). Must be proficient with spreadsheet applications. May also provide website updates using content management systems, i.e., WordPress. Must be willing to learn various types of computer applications and digital health technology.
In addition, the Project Manager will work closely with participating statewide Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Registry users, BIP Assistant Director, Program Manager, BIP Social Workers, the BIP Health Educator, persons and their families with lived experience of brain injury, and IDHI leadership. This individual will ensure that data is complete, accurate, timely, and reliable. Demonstrates ability to work independently, consult and collaborate with colleagues, develop, organize and execute assigned projects. Synchronizes internal and external personnel in activities to identify needs, problems and promote accomplishments of projects. The workstation for this position is remote work from home with some time on campus and occasional travel. Some local and regional travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- Education, general: Bachelor's degree in related field PLUS five (5) years of project management experience OR Associate’s degree PLUS three (3) years of project management experience OR High School Diploma/GED PLUS nine (9) years of project management experience.
- Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements.
