Job Description :
This requisition is for a highly motivated SFA within Commercial Banking Finance's RWA and Capital reporting team. The capital reporting team is responsible for accurate calculation, validation, reporting and forecasting of RWA metrics for internal (management reporting) requirements as well as regulatory reporting. The team works closely with various partners across the bank like CHIEF accounting, Risk partners, segment finance, etc. The mandate of the team is also evolving to provide value added analysis and help drive RWA and capital savings.
Reporting to the Group Manager Finance, Commercial Banking Finance, the successful candidate will be integral to achieving the team’s mandate to deliver value-added analysis & advice that contributes to the strategic direction of the Commercial Bank.
The role has a number of accountabilities which include, but are not limited to, the following:
Monthly production of Commercial Banking capital reporting used as part of external disclosures and for regulatory reporting to OSFI
Keep self and team updated of OSFI requirements for RWA/Capital and help adapt to production process. Work in collaboration with partner teams to identify and realise capital savings
Build an understanding of the drivers of RWA changes, through numerical analysis as well as generating qualitative feedback from TD's client facing sales teams, Risk partners, etc.
Ownership of planning/forecasting and reporting for RWA reporting
Develops and manages strong-ongoing internal relationships with business partners including Chief Accountant's, Enterprise Capital Management, Business Intelligence and Commercial Banking Credit Product team.
Completion of special projects, insightful analytics and ad hoc requests as required
Maintain industry, external and internal business awareness, recognizing and anticipating trends, identifying issues and opportunities, and recommending actions.
Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, productivity, innovation, creativity, analysis and advice.
Job Requirements
University degree in Business, Finance or a numerate discipline is preferred.
Familiarity with SQL, Excel and advanced data systems is a must.
Familiarity with Basel Capital Reporting guidelines is considered an asset
Flexibility to work over weekends/holidays during Quarter end reporting

Strong analytical capabilities - ability to consolidate a large amount of information into clear, concise analysis and insights to ultimately business decisions.
Highly motivated with an exceptional strong time management aptitude, analytical skills, and the ability to be flexible.
Proactive with the ability to see opportunities warranting further review & analysis.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to present to senior management level audience comfortably.
Must be detail-oriented and able to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting tight deadlines.
