About the Role

The vision of AIA Integrated Health Strategy (IHS) is to make health insurance and care more accessible, more affordable and more effective for the people in our communities. The candidate will be an integral part of our strategy and implementation.Duties / Accountabilities:
This role is responsible for driving the provider network management and growth for U Care while effectively supporting other affiliated companies to manage medical loss ratios by driving higher claims saving from provider management perspective. The candidate is responsible for two key financial outcomes: 1) profitability of U Care 2) claims saving for AIA affiliated entities (joint efforts). 

The candidate would be responsible for building a large-scale quality panel for AIA affiliated companies and other external customers by offering them effective cost containment, compelling customer experiences, and valuable services under TPA. The areas of focus include the panel expansion and integration, network provider tiering, provider network management and optimization (including compliance of agreed fees, pre-authorisation, performance management, clinical governance, etc.), value-based pricing, effective contracting, panel marketing and promotions, usage of panel providers, and transformation of Technology, Digital and Analytics (TDA) capability to enable data and analytics driven insights and decisions.

In addition, the candidate will participate the Integrated Health Strategy (IHS) Tribe and collaborate with other cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of IHS. Tribe specific responsibilities include
Lead Provision Management and Growth Team and work with team members to develop and prioritize the team deliverables and project plan in line with the HK IHS.
Support Team Sponsor Chief Health Officer to drive the vision and strategy.
Collaborate with other teams and Programme Office to ensure comprehensive and integrated planning, particularly TDA support, to support cross-pillar taskforces and initiatives.
Manage team’s resources to implement the work plan within the scope and budget in a timely manner.
Identify and lead team’s specific risks and issues on a timely basis.
Lead budget spending and re-forecasting.
Provide support to Team Sponsor and help discharge Team Sponsors’ responsibilities.
Report work plan progress and raise issues and risks to the Team Sponsor.
Support Team Sponsor to bring up any issues to Programme Office that cannot be resolved at the team levels.
Collaborate with Programme Office and other pillars to ensure timely issue resolution as needed.
Provide regular updates on team’s progress, risks, and issues to Programme Office.

Strong communication / presentation skills and the ability to establish relationships is a must;
Strong leadership skills, service oriented, self-motivated, determined to succeed, committed team player, strong sense of responsibility and humour;
Agile attitude and way of working to embrace to constantly evolving work environment;
Excellent spoken and written Cantonese, English and Chinese.
Education/Work Experience
University graduate or equivalent experience or above;
Minimum of 10 years’ experience with background in health insurance or healthcare management;
Experience in medical centre operations is an advantage
