The opportunity:
Change Delivery is a dynamic, global team that collaborates closely with the Board and executive leadership to research, develop, and implement critical initiatives worldwide. Our International portfolio spans a diverse range of projects, including product launches, new distribution channels, team setups, acquisitions, and operational efficiency programs.
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be part of a close-knit group, driving strategic priorities by delivering innovative business and technical solutions on time and within budget. What you’ll be doing:
As a Project Manager, you will:
Ensure Success: Deliver business benefits by managing projects within the defined scope of time, cost, quality, and risk. Evaluate project proposals to determine the best approach, resource needs, and any potential constraints. Maintain an awareness of potential dependencies with other projects and their impact. Conduct lessons learned to review implementation approach, management and prepare any follow-on action recommendations.
Drive Progress: Oversee, report, and communicate the project's progress, keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned. Mobilise and motivate the project team to contribute effectively and deliver results. Monitor and report overall progress, resourcing and budget, initiate corrective action where necessary.
Engage Stakeholders: From inception to completion, ensure business engagement and the realisation of benefits. Working with IT stakeholders to ensure products are delivered to technical standards. Business partnering with sponsors and the team to ensure a smooth transition to BAU and ensuring benefits and owned and measured.
Plan and Monitor: Assist in developing business cases and track progress throughout the project's lifecycle. Plan and oversee detailed project plans, including stage and exception plans. Monitor third party contributions where applicable. Monitor project risks, develop contingency plans.
Our must-haves:
• Prince 2 or equivalent Project Management certification preferred
• Solid understanding of MS applications and project management tools, for the planning, tracking and manipulation of project plans, data and MI
• Demonstrable experience of working in project management and driving business outcomes
• Strong capability in project financial management
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Strong change management / business improvement experience
• Meticulous in planning and execution
• Knowledge & experience of Agile delivery methodology desirable
• Knowledge & experience in vendor contract negotiation and management desirable
